Description
At once molten and solid, rough and refined, the Vesuvio Sconce is a sculptural light made from polished and textured cast bronze. Designed by Stefan Gulassa, the surface of the dish is modeled after the natural landscape, created using the lost wax process which shows every expressive touch of the artist, captured in bronze. Concealed behind a 3D-printed face, a dimmable LED illuminates the unit’s golden-bronze interior and mirrored back panel, its ridges around the dish reminiscent of water receding from a landscape.
