Description
The Vesuvio Floor Lamp, by artist Stefan Gulassa, is a solid bronze piece that leans against a wall as if casually placed there. This monolithic form is softened by a focal point of luminous gold light, a lost-wax-cast dish that shows every expression and touch of the artist captured in bronze. An LED hidden behind a center dish creates a gentle wash of light with a reflection that, depending on the angle, can mimic ripples in a pond.
