Seedling No.5
-
Description
Seedling is a series of coil-built forms by Zachary Weber representing the first signs of life—growth breaking through its container. Each ceramic silhouette is cut into various forms, displaced and reintegrated into itself, a process that involves play, experimentation and the embrace of uncertainty. The enclosed form, window cutouts and organic motifs of this glazed ceramic sculpture call to mind a sanctuary tucked beneath a forest canopy, engaging the viewer to explore what’s within.
