Description
Seedling is a series of coil-built forms by Zachary Weber representing the first signs of life—growth breaking through its container. Each ceramic silhouette is cut into various forms, displaced and reintegrated into itself, a process that involves play, experimentation and the embrace of uncertainty. A composition of shapes, windows and polished elements, this glazed ceramic sculpture engages the viewer to explore what’s within, where light becomes subject matter and negative spaces turn positive.
