Description
The Ondine Chair is Vladimir Kagan’s interpretation of a traditional wing chair design, blending his Mid-Century Modern heritage with his love of the sea. Designed in 1958, the back of the chair suggests the flukes of a whale’s tail, with the dramatic shape imparting the impression of movement. The silhouette is eye-catching in any setting, yet elegant enough to accent even traditional decor. Pairs well with the Contour Footstool.

Product Care
Wood
- Remove dust with a dry or damp lint-free microfiber cloth.
- Gentle hand dishwashing liquid diluted with water and applied with a microfiber cloth can be used for periodic cleaning.
- A silicone-free cleaner formulated specifically for wood furniture (like Guardsman Anytime Clean & Polish) can also be used when needed. Spray cleaner on cloth – never directly on the wood surface.
- Thoroughly dry the piece with a soft cloth after application of any moisture.
- Never use solvents or abrasives or cleaners not specifically designed for use on fine wood furniture.
- Limit direct exposure to UV light sources as it can cause wood colors to change.
- The use of placemats and coasters will help to avoid superficial scratches. Installing felt dots on the underside of objects also helps to preserve the surface.
- If the finish on well-loved VLADIMIR KAGAN furniture looks tired, an application of Howard Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish and Conditioner will rejuvenate your product. Closely follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
