Designed with attention to both form and function, each table is fully wrapped in woven rope, adding rich texture and a refined, sculptural quality. Neither natural hemp rope nor the painted cotton cord is intended for outdoor use.

In general, pieces are very durable. Painted cotton cord is made with acrylic paint on cotton rope and natural hemp is made with real hemp, which is very durable in and of itself.

Glue and nails hold the rope/cord in place.

Hemp pieces will have an odor upon arrival due to natural characteristics of hemp material. Natural hemp rope is not harmful.

Marine grade wood may be selected and quoted for humid climates to minimize wood movement and to preserve longevity of product.

Ships via freight receiving warehouse or white glove in-home delivery.

Product Care
Rope and Cotton Cord
- Air out natural hemp rope as soon as possible once received to diffuse odor which can be strong especially on larger pieces. Painted cotton cord will not have odor since cord is made of cotton, not hemp.
- Materials should only be cleaned gently by brushing with a soft brush, duster, or vacuum nozzle.
- Do not clean with any liquids other than water on a slightly moistened cloth when needed.
- Do not let water or any other liquids sit on pieces for an extended period, or they will stain the materials and cause adhesive to loosen and the rope/cord to unravel.
- In the case of minor wear or unraveling, a local furniture repair person can fix.
- In the case of major wear, neglect, or unraveling, pieces will need to go back to the workroom in France to be re-roped/re-corded.
Shipping & Installation
Ships via freight receiving warehouse or white glove in-home delivery.
Assembly is not required upon delivery.
