Description
The Untitled Vase by ceramist Claire Cosnefroy is part of a series of unique vessels. Each vase is created using a signature method: Cosnefroy coats the piece with a white slip before polishing it with beeswax, giving the work a beautiful sheen and a mineral appearance. Based in the South of France, Cosnefroy creates everyday objects from clay slabs using a coiling technique. Her pieces take on sculptural shapes that play with light and shadows, while seeming to have withstood the test of time.
