Description
The Sorraia Bed was inspired by an interiors project for the Little Nell Hotel in Aspen, Colorado. It became the first four-poster bed in our collection, with a design that is at once contemporary and old-world in form yet versatile and inviting in style. The mix of luxurious materials adds a warm, modern touch while the beautiful curves in the posts capture light beautifully.

- Upholstered headboard frame is solid maple and engineered wood. Construction is screwed, glued and double doweled for true heirloom quality.
- Features a fully upholstered platform with a COM/COL mitered frame border.
- Exposed wood frame and posts are solid American black walnut, finished with a durable conversion varnish coating.
- Outside back of headboard is upholstered so the bed can “float” in a room.
- Metal details are hand-patinated architectural bronze with a durable lacquer coating.

Product Care
Upholstery
- Furniture upholstered in textiles can be maintained by vacuuming gently using a soft brush attachment. A high-quality velvet brush can be used to restore the nap on pile fabrics.
- Down-filled seat cushions and back pillows will need to be consistently fluffed to restore their loft.
- Seat cushion covers can be adjusted by unclipping the hooks and rings and unzipping the cover to realign the seams of the cover and ticking insert.
- Steaming, deep-cleaning, and stain removal should follow the textile manufacturer’s instructions.
- Stain removal and general cleaning of leather wrapped furniture should follow the precise instructions of the leather supplier.
- When in doubt, consult a leather specialist.
- Remove dust with a dry or damp lint-free microfiber cloth.
- Gentle hand dishwashing liquid diluted with water and applied with a microfiber cloth can be used for periodic cleaning.
- A silicone-free cleaner formulated specifically for wood furniture (like Guardsman Anytime Clean & Polish) can also be used when needed. Spray cleaner on cloth – never directly on the wood surface.
- Thoroughly dry the piece with a soft cloth after application of any moisture.
- Never use solvents or abrasives or cleaners not specifically designed for use on fine wood furniture.
- Limit direct exposure to UV light sources as it can cause wood colors to change.
- The use of placemats and coasters will help to avoid superficial scratches. Installing felt dots on the underside of objects also helps to preserve the surface.
- If the finish on well-loved HOLLY HUNT furniture looks tired, an application of Howard Restor-A-Finish (in the color closest to the finish of the piece) followed by Howard Feed-N-Wax can work wonders to rejuvenate. Closely follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
