Sustainability

At CONRAD, we make every shade from rapidly renewable grasses and plants that are sustainably grown and harvested. Our skilled artisans then prepare the fibers and weave each shade using traditional handlooms, a process that consumes little energy and produces minimal waste.

Commercial Applications

CONRAD shades specified for hospitality and commercial projects are treated with optional flame retardancy treatment and meet NFPA-701 requirements. A California certificate of flame resistance is provided.

Roman Fold Shade: Front Operation

The shade waterfalls from the back of the headerboard, with the operating mechanism located to the front of the shade. A front valance is included to conceal the mechanism.
