Metal Back Bar Stool
Commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art in 2004, designer Mark Albrecht developed this stool for the Bar Room at The Modern, the museum’s restaurant. The low profile of the open back allows for the horizontal lines of the design to shine without compromising comfort. The wide metal back is curved just right to provide excellent lumbar support, and a tapered radius on the edge of the back lends a touch of crucial softness.
