The work of Mark Albrecht demonstrates rigor and refinement, minimalism and warmth. His reputation for thoughtful designs made from high-quality materials was established with the launch of an iconic metal and woven-leather chair and barstool, now in many celebrated residential and commercial projects, including The Modern at MoMA. An alum of the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris, Albrecht worked as a sculptor in France for many years before creating his New York furniture studio. Every piece is designed by Albrecht and handcrafted in his workshop by his highly skilled team, the materials sourced with consideration for their lasting qualities, integrity and impact on the environment.
