- Exposed wood frame is constructed from hand-selected American black walnut, finished in a durable conversion varnish coating.
- Structural joinery is double-dowel at substantially larger dimensions than the industry standard. This is further reinforced with glued corner blocks secured with outdoor-rated deck screws. The result is a visually delicate frame that is remarkably rigid and durable.
- Internal upholstery frame is made from solid maple and bent-laminated engineered wood.
- Comfortable cushioned seat features a webbed suspension with polyurethane foam and Dacron.

Upholstery

Furniture upholstered in textiles can be maintained by vacuuming gently using a soft brush attachment. A high-quality velvet brush can be used to restore the nap on pile fabrics.
Down-filled seat cushions and back pillows will need to be consistently fluffed to restore their loft.
Seat cushion covers can be adjusted by unclipping the hooks and rings and unzipping the cover to realign the seams of the cover and ticking insert.
Steaming, deep-cleaning, and stain removal should follow the textile manufacturer’s instructions.
Stain removal and general cleaning of leather wrapped furniture should follow the precise instructions of the leather supplier.
When in doubt, consult a leather specialist.

Wood

Remove dust with a dry or damp lint-free microfiber cloth.
Gentle hand dishwashing liquid diluted with water and applied with a microfiber cloth can be used for periodic cleaning.
A silicone-free cleaner formulated specifically for wood furniture (like Guardsman Anytime Clean & Polish) can also be used when needed. Spray cleaner on cloth – never directly on the wood surface.
Thoroughly dry the piece with a soft cloth after application of any moisture.
Never use solvents or abrasives or cleaners not specifically designed for use on fine wood furniture.
Limit direct exposure to UV light sources as it can cause wood colors to change.
The use of placemats and coasters will help to avoid superficial scratches. Installing felt dots on the underside of objects also helps to preserve the surface.
If the finish on well-loved HOLLY HUNT furniture looks tired, an application of Howard Restor-A-Finish (in the color closest to the finish of the piece) followed by Howard Feed-N-Wax can work wonders to rejuvenate. Closely follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.

Nickel or Architectural Bronze

Gentle hand dishwashing liquid diluted with water and applied with a microfiber cloth can be used for periodic cleaning.
Thoroughly dry the piece with a soft cloth after application of any moisture.
Never use solvents or abrasives.
