The patina on the cold-rolled steel frame is applied entirely by hand, providing subtle variance and a depth of color that would be impossible with any other method.

Steel frame is protected with a smooth-as-silk, hand-rubbed automotive urethane.

The seemingly effortless interaction of the metal structure and the faceted wood underside can only be achieved by meticulously hand-fitting each of the components. There are no visible fasteners.

Faceted wood underside is available in all standard HHCF oak finishes coated in a durable conversion varnish, or standard HHCF lacquer colors coated in a hand-polished automotive urethane.

Patinated Steel
- Remove dust with a dry or damp lint-free microfiber cloth.
- Gentle hand dishwashing liquid diluted with water and applied with a microfiber cloth can be used for periodic cleaning.
- Thoroughly dry the piece with a soft cloth after application of any moisture.
- Never use solvents or abrasives or cleaners not specifically designed for use on fine furniture.
- Fine superficial scratches can often be gently removed using a “swirl remover” compound. Reach out to your showroom to inquire if this solution is recommended for your piece.
- Remove dust with a dry or damp lint-free microfiber cloth.
- Gentle hand dishwashing liquid diluted with water and applied with a microfiber cloth can be used for periodic cleaning.
- A silicone-free cleaner formulated specifically for wood furniture (like Guardsman Anytime Clean & Polish) can also be used when needed. Spray cleaner on cloth – never directly on the wood surface.
- Thoroughly dry the piece with a soft cloth after application of any moisture.
- Never use solvents or abrasives or cleaners not specifically designed for use on fine wood furniture.
- Limit direct exposure to UV light sources as it can cause wood colors to change.
- The use of placemats and coasters will help to avoid superficial scratches. Installing felt dots on the underside of objects also helps to preserve the surface.
- If the finish on well-loved HOLLY HUNT furniture looks tired, an application of Howard Restor-A-Finish (in the color closest to the finish of the piece) followed by Howard Feed-N-Wax can work wonders to rejuvenate. Closely follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
