Product Description
Alison Berger’s The Sky Above Pendant is a magical constellation of abstract stars, each drawn by hand on a layer of glass while it is molten, and repeated for each layer until the sphere reaches its final size. The resulting crystal globe is buffed by hand before set into the handcrafted bronze fixturing; one’s experience of this design will shift with time and perspective, just as the celestial patterns evolve from day to evening, unlit to lit. This pendant and all of Berger’s designs are blown in her Los Angeles atelier, annealed for several days, then finished by hand. No two are exactly alike.
