Sculpted End Table
-
Description
The Sculpted End Table is one of a series of pieces Vladimir Kagan created as a reaction to and rejection of the Bauhaus-inspired rigidity that was becoming the standard of modern design. Dating to 1950, the table features thin, branch-like limbs that grow out from a central joint. The finely sculpted base supports a signature three-sided glass top for an extra layer of visual interest.

Care & Assembly
- Remove dust with a dry or damp lint-free microfiber cloth.
- Gentle hand dishwashing liquid diluted with water and applied with a microfiber cloth can be used for periodic cleaning.
- A silicone-free cleaner formulated specifically for wood furniture (like Guardsman Anytime Clean & Polish) can also be used when needed. Spray cleaner on cloth – never directly on the wood surface.
- Thoroughly dry the piece with a soft cloth after application of any moisture.
- Never use solvents or abrasives or cleaners not specifically designed for use on fine wood furniture.
- Limit direct exposure to UV light sources as it can cause wood colors to change.
- The use of placemats and coasters will help to avoid superficial scratches. Installing felt dots on the underside of objects also helps to preserve the surface.
- If the finish on well-loved VLADIMIR KAGAN furniture looks tired, an application of Howard Feed-N-Wax Wood Polish and Conditioner will rejuvenate your product. Closely follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use.
- Remove dust with a dry or damp lint-free microfiber cloth.
- Additive-free glass cleaner can be used if needed. Spray glass cleaner on the cloth – never directly on the glass. Take care to avoid glass cleaner contact with other materials (like wood or metal).
- Never use solvents or abrasives or cleaners not specifically designed for use on glass.
