Jaanika Peerna, an Estonian-born artist based in New York since 1998, creates works that span drawing, installation and performance. Her art often reflects transitions in light, air, and water, drawing inspiration from natural phenomena. Her art practice stems from the corporeal experience of our existence and reaches towards enhanced awareness of the fragility, interconnectedness and wonder of all life.
