Lotus Chair
-
Description
In the late 1960s, Vladimir Kagan began experimenting with Lucite, an ultra-versatile material that was having a moment, thanks to the space-age trend. Within the curved frame floats a minimal upholstered seat, engineered so as not to detract from the design’s lightness. Combining the curvaceous shapes now synonymous with the brand, the Lotus Chair is a perfect example of an iconic Kagan design from this period.
