Basho Leaf: Salt / Gold
-
Description
Basho Leaf’s calligraphic strokes of hand-applied gold leaf on marble plaster call to mind the deliberate and detailed approach of abstract expressionist works. The organic process of the wide intuitive strokes creates a bold pattern resembling handwriting—each one instinctive and fluid yet intentional. Basho Leaf is naturally antimicrobial and suited for a wide range of environments.

ASSEMBLAGE
Founded by husband and wife team Christian and Heidi Batteau, ASSEMBLAGE handcrafts exquisite bespoke wallpaper. They have a portfolio of impressive clients such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany & Co. After many years of working in New York the couple relocated to Arkansas, where ASSEMBLAGE is now housed in a repurposed seed mill. Alongside a small team of artisans, the Batteaus practice centuries-old techniques to craft made-to-order luxury wallcoverings with the highest quality, all-natural materials. Everything is done by hand providing the opportunity to create custom wallpaper for any size project.
