Description
Each of Hirsch’s pieces is the result of an intricate, time-intensive process. She begins by meticulously cutting thousands of individual circles or strips, each one shaped by hand. Every piece is then carefully painted on both the front and back, ensuring rich color and depth from every angle. The painted strips are rolled into delicate tubes, while the circles are transformed into layered, flower-like forms. One by one, these elements are arranged and affixed to the board, building a vibrant, textured composition. The entire process is highly detailed and laborious, often taking two to three months to complete a single large artwork.
