The Pressed Ki Blok Bench by designer and artist Eric Slayton embodies the beautiful natural imperfections of repurposed wood. “Ki” translates to “tree timbers” in Japanese, and the bench tells the story of a wood shaped by time, with its graining, nail holes, stains and gracefully aged details revealed through its outer veneer and oiled surface. The clean-lined wood beam is set on refined alloy legs, creating a contemporary seat with dynamic form.
