Description
Inspired by the softness of nature and the ever-changing, unpredictable moods of self, these one-of-a-kind Matood Sculptures by ceramicist Re Jin Lee instill a sense of zen in any space. Each piece is created using hand-building techniques that pre-date the potter’s wheel—individually rolled-out slabs are slow-dried and finished in multiple layers of brushed-on slip for the surface and glazed inside. The result is an assemblage of beautiful, freeform sculptures honed by an artist’s intuitive touch.
