    La Ronde 54 invites relaxation with a circular shape that encapsulates an extravagantly deep seat. Atop a 360-degree swivel mechanism, the oversized lounge is topped with plush accent pillows that invite a creative mix of textures and colors.

    • Made by hand by highly skilled craftspeople in the USA.
    • Kiln-dried solid maple internal frames are built to order for signature durability.
    • Constructed with 8-way hand-tied springs in the seat and sculpted back upholstery with layers of multi-density foam for consistent comfort. 
    • The backrest is furnished with plush down-filled accent pillows.
    • All materials are patterned, cut, and tailored by hand. 
    • Respect for traditional handcraft promises “Heirloom Quality,” while modern materials and techniques maintain longevity and performance.
    • Exposed wood plinth bases are available in solid maple, oak, or walnut wood, or with metal veneer in chrome and brass finishes.
    • Finished by hand with traditional oil-based varnish to bring out the natural luster of the wood base.
    • An integrated full 360-degree swivel mechanism adds a playful and functional touch.
    • Return swivel, 360° swivel, or stationary swivel options.
    • Includes stainless steel contract grade glides.

Vladimir Kagan

Vladimir Kagan pioneered the enduring voice of midcentury modern design. A designer of not simply furniture but what he called “vessels to hold the human body,” Kagan joined the portfolio in 2016, personally entrusting his legacy to HOLLY HUNT. Kagan’s designs radiate his vitality and passion for discovery. Born in Worms, Germany in 1927, he emigrated to the U.S. at the age of 11, just before the dawn of WWII. From his father’s repeated admonishment “Ehre das Handwerk!” (“Honor the handcraft!”), Vladimir inherited an appreciation of artisan skill which, combined with his innovative design sensibility, was key to his success.
