- Spot clean or professional fur clean.
- Use a high-quality cashmere comb or brush to gently remove any loose fibers. Light, repetitive strokes will help without damaging the fabric.
- Continue to use the cashmere comb/brush periodically to keep shedding at bay.
- If the shedding persists, consider taking the throw to a cashmere specialist for dry cleaning. They will ensure that no harsh chemicals or high heat are used, which could affect the integrity of the fabric.
- Store the throw folded in a cool, dry place, preferably in a soft sealed bag with a cedar block which can also help maintain its condition.
