For the Double Flower Vase, ceramist Chloe Park was inspired by “moribana,” a freestyle floral-arranging technique derived from the oldest school of ikebana in Kyoto, Japan. Hand-built from clay bodies, the tubular vase has a natural poise, a form that reflects the sensitivity of the flowers it’s made to hold. Each vase is put through multiple glaze firings to achieve the desired color and textural finish.
