Care & Assembly

Product Care
Patina Metal
  • Clean with a very soft, dry cloth or breathe onto a soft cloth then rub gently in the direction of the patina.
  • Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaners as this may scratch or damage the finish.
Polished Metal
  • Clean polished metal or polished stainless with a damp cloth.
  • Do not use commercial or heavy-duty polishes or waxes, as they may scratch or damage the finish.
  • Polishes we recommend are Brasso, Simichrome, or our favorite Flitz; these can be used without inflicting damage even for the unskilled user, unless the polished surface has a wax sealer coat.
  • Polishes will remove the wax while polishing the metal, but the surface would then have to be re-waxed if it is on a metal that needs to be sealed.
Specialty Glass
  • Clean by wiping with a soft damp cloth or glass cleaner with no additives.
  • Apply glass cleaner to a soft cloth rather than directly on to the fixture to avoid overspray that may damage other finishes.

Alison Berger fuses nature and architecture to create unique, iconic glass pieces. She studied glass blowing for more than 25 years and apprenticed with sculptor Dale Chihuly. Her innovative work is featured in the Corning Museum permanent collection and has been shown at the Museum of Modern Art and in the Cooper-Hewitt Museum's National Design Triennial. Each piece is hand blown, annealed for two to three days, and then hand-finished and, in some cases, hand-etched.  HOLLY HUNT has cherished her best-in-class partnership for more than 20 years.
