    The minimalist Bella Figura Pendant is inspired by Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert’s time working in a glass studio in Murano, Italy. It’s where he first learned the term bella figura, a concept deeply embedded in Italian culture that emphasizes elegance in restraint and making a profound impression. More than a light fixture, each pendant is an embodiment of the philosophy and a reflection of impeccable grace.

Care & Assembly

Product Care
Patina Metal
  • Clean with a very soft, dry cloth or breathe onto a soft cloth then rub gently in the direction of the patina.
  • Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaners as this may scratch or damage the finish.
Polished Metal
  • Clean polished metal or polished stainless with a damp cloth.
  • Do not use commercial or heavy-duty polishes or waxes, as they may scratch or damage the finish.
  • Polishes we recommend are Brasso, Simichrome, or our favorite Flitz; these can be used without inflicting damage even for the unskilled user, unless the polished surface has a wax sealer coat.
  • Polishes will remove the wax while polishing the metal, but the surface would then have to be re-waxed if it is on a metal that needs to be sealed.
Steel
  • Clean by wiping with a soft dry cloth.
Blown Glass
  • Blown glass and crystal can be cleaned by wiping with a soft damp cloth or glass cleaner with no additives.
  • Apply glass cleaner to a soft cloth rather than directly on to the fixture to avoid overspray that may damage other finishes.

JMW Studio

JMW Studio was founded in 2015 by Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert, an internationally acclaimed glass blower known for large-scale illuminated sculptures and installations. Wintrebert is a passionate advocate for preserving the art of glass blowing. The location of his street-level atelier, in an 1850s viaduct in Paris, was specifically chosen to enable passers-by to catch glimpses of the magic happening within. The studio’s small yet highly specialized team realizes Wintrebert’s original designs in free-blown glass, using age-old techniques that he mastered while apprenticing at esteemed glass studios worldwide, including Dale Chihuly in Seattle and Davide Salvadore in Murano.
