Bell Jar Pendant
-
Product Description
The Bell Jar Pendant is the realization of a common form in an exceptional material: crystal that is mouth-blown while being manipulated by hand. Its silhouette is an amalgam of beaker and bell jar, inspired by platonic still-life forms and realized in delicate crystal that bears subtle bubbles, striations and other evidence of the artist’s hand. As with all of Alison Berger’s designs, this pendant is blown in her Los Angeles atelier, annealed for several days, then finished by hand. No two are exactly alike.

Care & Assembly
- Clean with a very soft, dry cloth or breathe onto a soft cloth then rub gently in the direction of the patina.
- Do not use abrasive cloths or cleaners as this may scratch or damage the finish.
- Clean polished metal or polished stainless with a damp cloth.
- Do not use commercial or heavy-duty polishes or waxes, as they may scratch or damage the finish.
- Polishes we recommend are Brasso, Simichrome, or our favorite Flitz; these can be used without inflicting damage even for the unskilled user, unless the polished surface has a wax sealer coat.
- Polishes will remove the wax while polishing the metal, but the surface would then have to be re-waxed if it is on a metal that needs to be sealed.
