The Barrel Chair was Vladimir Kagan’s first signature design, introduced in 1947 and inspired by the rounded frames of zeppelins he observed during his early childhood in Germany. This iconic piece features a classic silhouette with inviting curves, bringing warmth to any setting.

Constructed with 8-way hand-tied springs in the seat and sculpted back upholstery with layers of multi-density foam for consistent comfort.

Finished by hand with traditional oil-based varnish to bring out the natural luster of solid wood.
