VERDI is a Colombian multi-dimensional design studio specializing in innovative weaving techniques, intertwining traditional organic fiber with metallic threads by hand to create revolutionary, inimitable rugs.
At the heart of it all are humble fibers — from a native Colombian material called fique, to alpaca wool, horsehair, copper and stainless steel — and the many hands that touch them in their journey.
Founded almost thirty years ago by the late Carlos Vera Dieppa, and run today by his son Tomás Vera, VERDI remains committed to crafting exceptional pieces using sustainable materials. Skilled weavers work their magic on traditional looms at the company’s headquarters in Bogotá, transforming these modest raw materials into sophisticated, customizable floor coverings that effortlessly complement the extensive offerings in the HOLLY HUNT portfolio.
