ABOUT
HISTORY

Known for a look that is consistently at the forefront of style and quality, HOLLY HUNT showrooms and collections lead the industry in luxury home furnishings. The company designs, produces and showcases custom made product including indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, rugs, textiles and leathers.

1983-1989

1983
Holly buys R.J. Randolph, a small showroom business in Chicago's Merchandise Mart. The showroom was small and the major designer collection in the showroom was Karl Springer. The look was modern with a few traditional elements such as Old World Weavers and Yale Burge.

1984
Holly changes the company's name, and the first HOLLY HUNT showroom is born. In the beginning, HOLLY HUNT was a company representing designer's collections, and throughout the years many of the most prestigious designer collections in the industry have been represented in HOLLY HUNT showrooms. Fortuitously, this same year, Holly met Rose Tarlow who had an antique shop on Melrose Place in LA and who had just begun her collection of made-to-order furniture.

1985
HOLLY HUNT showroom opens in Minneapolis. In following years, HH expanded the size of the Chicago showroom to present many new designers' work.
